What:  RESTORE Council Planning Framework Draft Public Meeting

The Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (RESTORE Council) announces a public meeting to present its Planning Framework draft, created in support of the Council’s upcoming selection of its third Funded Priorities List (FPL 3). This will be the fifth in-person, Gulf Coast public meeting held during the RESTORE Council’s 45-day public review and comment period on the Planning Framework draft. This Planning Framework draft is provided to support the Council’s commitment to transparency, collaboration, and advancement of best available science in the Council’s decision-making process. The public review period began on April 26 and will conclude at 11:59 pm MDT on June 12, 2019. The Planning Framework draft is currently available atwww.restorethegulf.gov. During the Texas public meeting, the Council will present an overview of the Planning Framework draft and request your input to ensure restoration investments fit into a broad vision of the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to RESTORE Council members and staff representatives from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality will be in attendance.

 

Advance registration for the Texas meeting is not required, but is appreciated. To confirm your attendance, email your first and last name to RestoreCouncil@restorethegulf.gov. *The Bayside Parking Garage, shaded in light green on the campus map, has been designated as visitor parking for this event. Parking in the Heart Research Institute (HRI) lot and other lots will result in ticketing by the campus police.
