The Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (RESTORE Council) announces a public webinar to present its draft Funded Priorities List (FPL) 3b. This will be the 1st Gulf Coast webinar held during the RESTORE Council’s 50-day public review and comment period on draft Funded Priorities List (FPL) 3b. This draft FPL 3b will adhere to the FPL development processes committed to by the Council, particularly as they relate to the use of the best available science (BAS), public engagement and transparency, and the Council’s recently finalized Planning Framework. The public review period begins on November 16, 2020 and will conclude at 11:59 pm MT on January 5, 2021. The draft FPL 3b is currently available at www.restorethegulf.gov. During the Mississippi public meeting, the Council will present an overview of the draft FPL 3b and request your input to ensure restoration investments fit into the broad vision of the Gulf of Mexico. In addition to RESTORE Council staff, representatives from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA, and the U.S. Department of the Interior will participate.
